New Zealand born Dr Benjamin Weir graduated Vet school in Adelaide in 2017 then spent 3 years in the South East working in mixed practice. Following this, he moved back towards Adelaide, working in the Fleurieu and Hills regions, focusing primarily on production animal surgery and medicine. He loves anything bovine related.

Ben started Production Animal Veterinary Services in April 2023 and is enjoying the challenges of running a business and sharing his knowledge and experience with his clients. He is a BullCHECK accredited veterinarian, APAV (Accreditation program for Australian veterinarians). He is also a keen cattle preg tester, and you will rarely find him without his ultrasound.

On the rare occasion when he is not working, Ben enjoys clay target shooting or relaxing at the beach with his wife Tess and his best mate, Indiana Bones.
